Default My E and F drives doors will not open

My Eand F drives are stuck. They won't open will I press the the buttons. I rebooted and they are still stuck. Should I open the PC and maybe tug it a little? Please help if you can. Thanks.

Did you try the paperclip in the hole trick? (If you haven't heard about it, there is a small hole in every disc drive. put a paperclip in it, and it'll open automatically.) If that doesn't work, I don't really know what will, other than prying it open.

lol prying it open, nice thinking dimitri, sounds like something i would do when i get pissed. i have seen the paper clip trick before. another thing is, if theres no disc in there then use a butter knife or something strong and thin and just pull the thing back out and then it should slide open just enough so you can grab it. luck!

Ghost375,
I thougt of just prying it open, but I didn't want to reak it. The paper clip through the little in the door, worked well. There are no problems with it now. So, if anyone else should have that rpoblem, try the paperclip.

Hey, I bought a DVD R/RW drive, it came with a charcoal gray cover, and a beige box cover. Taped to the beige cover (not default) was an eject tool (paper clip). I found that by accident. So Yes.. some do come with a paper clip, preformed for you.
