Hey, Been a while well I got a question, I put new (used) black dell speakers on my PC, well they are hooked up and no sound coming out, do I need drivers for it? Where can I find them? Also i plugged in my headphones, and my sound echos and I have restarted my PC and all my sounds still echo? How do I fix this. Thanks Mike

Hi again Mike,
Welcome back to the forum - I hope to see you here more often in the future, and not only when you need computer help. If you only return to us when you've got computer problems we will be unable to continue to provide a computer support community.

Does your sound card/chipset happen to be Realtek? Also has the problem suddenly started on it's own or have you done something recently to change your computer's configuration? And finally, what OS are you running?

This could possibly be one of the Realtek effects running.
Look in your system tray for an icon that looks like this and doubleclick it:

There should now be another window up with a dropdown labeled Environment:. Select <None> and the echo should be gone.

I'd try those speakers on another machine because they may be the problem, rather than the PC. If your headphones are working, your speakers should be too.
