Yesterday, I was surfing the web when I came across a site called Portable Apps. The site allows you to download free software, such as a portable version of Firefox and Thunderbird, on to a memory key. I desided to try it out and have found that it works great. I just wanted to post some links for there site.

I have on my key Trillian, Firefox, Thunderbird, Sunbird, Open Office, VLC Media Player, ClamWin, and Ad-Aware 2007 on my 1 gb key.

Portable Apps Site

Portable Apps CNET site. I found that downloading off of CNET's site had better results than off of Portable Apps. I recomend the Standard edition.

Thanks for the post. Portable Apps is a really good suite, and use it myself. The only drawback is its load time from the pin to the PC -- the more apps you add to it, the longer it takes to load. However, it's worth the convenience 100%.

The most common app I use with it is Mozilla (FTP). Thanks again!!!
