| I'm comparing the following LCDs. By specs it appears that the Samsung is best. Any comments on the reputations of the three companies with thier monitors. Viewsonic Q22wb 22" 900/1 contrast ratio, 5ms response time, $240 Acer AL 2223w 22", 800/1, 5ms $240 Samsung 216 bw 22", 1000/1, 5ms $259. Thnanks |

| I'd say go with the Samsung - their monitors are usually very good. Viewsonic's stuff is OK but I've not used it myself. And if Acer's monitors are of a similar quality as their laptops... I wouldn't dream of buying one.

| Although acer might not have the highest quality of laptops, they are a company that has made monitors for a while. And I have had a few acer monitors (none recently) and they seem to work fairly well....Had one that started getting really blury on me after 9 years, but hey...that isn't too bad...especially since it is a 13in CRT monitor...so not too useful anymore anyhow. |

| I would go with this one Samsung 216 bw 22", 1000/1, 5ms $259. Plus it is a very good price.
