| Hi I have an internal hard drive that i want to make external. All I have to do is buy an enclosure for it right. Also does anyone have detailed instructions on how to install. Also how do I format the hard drive because i have windows 2000 and other stuff on it. Thanks! I dont know if you need to know this but I'll tell you any ways, its a seagate 160gb harddrive. |

| Well, if it's not actually in your PC, there is no way to format it until you hook it up as an external drive. Just go to Disk Management and press fromat, I think

| Probably plastic. You won't need an outlet, it just plugs straig into either ethernet or USP port

| That's good then. Good luck. I'm supposing you still have to buy a case for it and that?
