Like it says in the title: when I load up a YouTube page, I get all the text, all the links but no video. Using W2K, I've tried in IE and Firefox, no difference. What's driving me nuts is that I'm not getting any error messages either.
I can view Flash-type videos embedded in other sites, thanks to several recent version downloads and updates, and I can see the video on a W98SE machine with the same version of IE (just don't have a sound card in that box). The only thing I can thing I can find that's "out of order" is no application associated with SWF files.... but as Flash is a plugin, I don't know what to link it too anyway...... Any ideas? |

... not really. That's just it - there's nothing to show: just the video title, followed by the bar of links (Share/Favorites/etc). Not even a big empty gap where the video should be.
I've compared the source code on the W98 machine and the W2K and there doesn't seem to be any difference there either. |
