BREAKING NEWS; Up to now this game has been banned in Britain, a few minutes ago a BBC TV news report says that it can now be sold here, the game is described as brutal & violent, & when played using the Wii, the scenes of quote; "blood & gore are at their worst", it can now be sold here to persons over the age of 18 & over,
Parents of children under that age are said to be "shocked & horrified"

yes, ive heard of this game, not something id want to play, but im sure a lot of people will be pleased to be able to get this game.

yo, Manhunt is peanuts in shit compared to the effects of Condemned 1 and condemned 2. manhunt is just trash and bullshit, i played it and its straight garbage, Condemned is the real game that should be banned off the face of the earth. it was rated the scariest and most twisted game ever played ten times over by an official PS3 magazine. FxCK Manhunt it sucks!!!!!

Tell that to the parents of a young boy of say five or six, whose older brother has this game & who might sneak it to their room & play it.

that is quite true grappler. I also am a firm believer that games like this can also lead to kids/teens to grow up thinkin violence and guns are ok. Ive heard of a few people that have murdered or commited very violent crimes and blame the games that they played as a child.

Yeah, I don't know anyone personally that was involved, but in Portsmouth where I was born, there is a very high rate of street crime such as stabbings & shootings in fact among the worst in western Europe, I loved growing up there as a child, but now I'm deeply ashamed of it, oh & it has the highest number of teenage births, so-called single parent families in England as well, it's my birthplace but I've no desire to there again, it's only half an hour by ferry, but I know I'd get depressed & that's soooo not me!

well, im not saying that manhunt isnt as bad as the next game, im just saying that people are worried about a game that isnt even that* bad. ive plated the first and second one and both of them have bad graphics and also it isnt that much fun. im just saying that manhunt isnt even close to being as bad as condemned. thats all

I've never had a problem with blood and gore. When I was growing up I used to play games like GTA1 and 2, all kinds of war games and anything having to do with guns, knives and killing people. I don't go out all day and look for crimes to commit, and I don't get the person who says it is the video games fault. they are just looking for an excuse or something to blame for their wrong doing.
I have played manhunt and was looking forward to playing the second, because in my opinion, the first wasn't all that bad. If you play it right, it was actually fun. And I have played condemned. In many ways it is by far the better game. In either game, you could kill people in the most horrific ways, as with many other games.
Honestly, for any video game to be effectively banned, they have to be able to stop the production of the systems designed to play them.
