New computer

That link has my computers specs and I am running vista ultimate 32 bit.

I have done every step that it has said on the website about the preparing to launch crash, none worked. Windows is completely updated and I have reinstalled CSS twice.

Has it worked at all since you had vista?

it looks to me like its a directx thing, try going to the MS website and downloading DX9 installing it, restart and see if it works ok.
