Arrow FARCRY 2
has anyone had a chance to look at this?Far Cry 2 | Official Site | Ubisoft looks like this game will be pretty amazing! unfortunately, i can't find a release date that is any more specific than spring 2008. But i kind of figured i'd still pass the info along.

I remember when Far Cry was released... its an awesome game , cant wait till 2 is released

Then you must not be looking a the right screen shots. For some reason the Ubisoft website doesn't have as many shots as this site.

One thing that i find particularly intriguing is how good the environment looks, and how well it appears to react to things like wind, explosions, and fire.

ya fire would definitly be the coolest part of that game. get like a fire ring going around a camp. or maybe just a person lol.

It would be nice to see something like throwing a frag grenade into a hut, watching it blow up, and watch it send pieces of burning shrapnel into the neighbors hut, setting it on fire and burning it to the ground. Any elements of the game that can be made to appear more realistic will be greatly appreciated by me, like the shots depicting a grass fire growing and engulfing the tree nearby. Better vehicle control would be pretty cool, too.
