Default Podcast Conversion

I was planning on getting a Toshiba Gigabeat S30(ordering it today), and I was wondering if there was anyway to get a podcast on it. I would need to convert a MPEG-4 video into the WMV format. Any suggestions? XD

It's fairly easy to do, and there's plenty of software on the web. As you're buying a top-brand [Toshiba], it's quite likely they will even include some conversion software on the CD that comes with the player. If you'd like me to have a look for some decent conversion software, let me know.

Ash, I found out that wmp 11 can convert mp4 to wmv. So, for a free porgram that converts mp4 to wmv and is reliable, reputable, spyware-free, I found wmp11. Sorry that I didn't look further into it. I'll tell you guys what the gigabeat s is like when I get it.

You might want to check out this tool:
VideoHelp.com - Tools - VEMoDe

Let me know how you get on with it - I've not yet downloaded and installed it but it looks good.

It looks like it converts wmv to mp4. I was looking for the other way around. I tried to put an mp4 through wmp 11 but it couldn't convert it. Can you help?

Have you downloaded and installed the program? If it can convert wmv to mp4 then usually it can convert the other way around.

It doesn't work, I couldn't convert it to wmv. All it does is convert files to mp4. Can you help me convert using wmp 11. It says it can do it, but it just says it can'y play or convert it.

Thanks, I downloaded the trial. The limit is 5 min per file of conversion, but the podcasts I need are less than five min. So thanks for finding this.
