Hello everyone,

I'm looking for suggestions on a new posting rank scheme to use here at CompuForums. The poster of the one I choose will get a free premium membership [or extension if they already have one]!

The current scheme we use is this:
* Newbie (Minimum Posts: 0)
* Kilobyte (Minimum Posts: 10)
* Megabyte (Minimum Posts: 30)
* Gigabyte (Minimum Posts: 500)
* Terabyte (Minimum Posts: 1000)

However, it's becoming boring and the steps are too wide. Remember it's the one we want to replace, so be creative! And yes - I'd like to also see the Minimum Post threshold changed on these.

I like the names, but the gaps are too big. I think that terabyte and gigabyte should be lower. I think gigabyte should be 250 and terabyte should be 500.

Hmm... good point. I'll change those ranks soon.

Does anyone think the names should be changed as well as the gaps?

I like the names, there well thought of and suite the site well, good work.
I do Agree with JSmith though the gaps for Gigabyte and Terrabyte are too big.

Maybe you should repolace Newbie with "Byte", that way you have all Bytes
