Cf Members & New Members Please Read

Please read the following and take note: Failure to abide by this may result in this forum being closed permanantley.

As some of you may be aware, CompuForums was closed today for 2hours to everybody. This is because the admin/Mod team felt it nessasary to take action because people are failing to take notice of our continued endeavours to promote a "fair use policy" & "community spirit"

All to often people come to this site expecting to get their computer problems sorted immeadiatley, some dont even bother to introduce themselves and go straight to their problems and once they have got what they want they just leave. This is not what CompuForums is about. We also seem to have members that we only here from when they have a problem or want something answered. Again this is not the idea of CompuForums.

Whilst nobody minds helping people out, it gets a bit tiresome when you are always helping the same people all the time and never see them contribute anything to CompuForums and its community.

I for one do not want to see CompuForums closed down, but until people stop using this forum as a Free Computer Helpdesk/Support Desk then this is going to be a consideration.

Anybody can contribute to these forums, even if its just posting in the off-topic section or telling us about some computer related news you have heard of... there are tons of different things that can be posted about.

I would like however, to thank the members who do contribute to this site regually and help others out aswell as themselves. You all know who you are, and its people like you that make this forum good. Keep it up Guys & Girls.
