I've actually done this before, but my cell phone has a memory stick that I can plug into my computer for easy transfer. I took the basic mp3 of the song I wanted to edit and used any old program (I did have to go find one but it was freeware) to convert the file type from mp3 to .wav file, then used Fruity Loops Studio to open the .wav and edit it. It's pretty easy with Fruity Loops, I spent maybe a half hour doing it the first time I had done it. It just doesnt involve recording so you keep the quality of the song.
Have you tried just using a different program that creates .wav instead of sound recorder? |
