An IP address is nothing to worry about - it is simply a number given to your computer. Some ISPs change it every time you log on, or even every time you load a new webpage. However, others do not change it in over a year, or never.

It is likely that someone else had the IP before, and then you had it. But it's nothing to worry about, and your computer's security is in no way threatened by this. But it's still good practice to run up-to-date antivirus software, a strong firewall, and some antispyware software too. There are lots of programs that do these things, and for free. If you want some suggestions please let us know.
