"we dont backup, we store"

ok so what we do here is we dont backup anything, but instead we mirror whole systems. so say if my dads pc gets infected I can just reinstall and then re link him the the sync server. the sync server stores the files, the workstation keeps the backup. so there is always atleast 1 copy of your files somewhere on the network, as to their wereabouts you cannot tell, it depends what workstation you use when with the sync server. confusing, but works fine, we only loose files if we delete them, we have not lost a single file due to reinstalls or software errors since this system was configured.
