Default Japenese Windows 3.1

Hello,

I have been working on a little task with my dad who works for a Japanese company, they have built a Japenese QBasic program, however it is all on a Japenese Windows 3.1 NEC Laptop. Unfortunatly the BAS file wont run on an English QBasic, and the Japenese one wont run on Windows XP because it has no 16bit Subsystem to run apps like this off. Also it will not run on my Windows 95 test environment :S, I guess it needs to be on a japenese OS, such as Japenese DOS or Win3.1. Problem is getting hold of this stuff, the second bit is understanding it, I am an English guy, and the only other language I know is Spanish. If you guys could solve the first problem of finding Japenese DOS and Windows 3.1 and QBasic then I guess Ill need to solve the second problem .

Any help would be appreciated. We need to get this App of the Windows 3.1 laptop and onto a VMWare box or a better environment for it so it can be used, but we also plan on developing it into a more friendly GUI based App, possibly with Java so it has the flexibility of any platform and also any runtime. However I cannot share this App with you as it would break CopyRight and Patent laws. However I can tell you it does some complicated Maths with a Japenese output with graphs. We plan on recreating the Maths and Graph plotting in English and Japenese in a new environment such as Java.
