Wrong, macs is easier than linux, I have one, you never understand a mac until you have lived with one, mine has crashed once since March and I haven't turned it off since the day I got it, it just goes to sleep and everyday it continues just as stable as the last. Macs also have better apps than linux, they have branded software such as Studio MX and Photoshop. And yes macs are starting to be more like PCs, supporting Windows Apps, but they are still optimised for their amazingly good operating system and using OSX and a mac will revolutionise your computing experience completely. You don't know till you have tried.

And yes, there are viruses for Mac.
Scripts not viruses. But they do do damage, but they are somewhat less frequent and well known than on Windows, and OSX definatly has the upperhand on keeping you safe.
