GTA was the best it was just so much fun and you didn't need to get caught up in the missions to complete the levels.

GTA2 was very cheesey and I never got into that at all.

GTA3 seemed to be to much story based and I prefered the freedom of the first.

GTA3 VC I never got into

GTA3 SA was fun at first, but to much hassle to follow the story and not enough freedom.
