second. did your icons switch in any kind of order? like did they all go down 1, or right 1, or go "down" 1 alphabetically?

btw do u go by phoneybaloney? if not, this link might be helpful. bunch of posts on same subject. amazing what google will do. All my desktop icons have switched, is this a virus? - Yahoo! Answers
if this doesn't help, wait to see if any1 in here posts something. if they don't, and your problem isn't fixed by 1 of the suggestions here/in the link/or using ONE anti-virus doesn't help, then good luck. |
well....firstly....i no longer have the 3 AV's running, i've limited myself to only Avast, Ccleaner and Spybot s+d now, and it probably goes without saying, but as soon as i wiped off 360, my laptop is going one hell of a lot faster!
secondly, as Levan said, i did this manually (right click properties), thankfully i like to keep my desktop in working order so i only had around 7-8 icons to change. =)
Thirdly, the order did not change no, simply the appearance of the icon. As i mentioned, I have now corrected the status of the icon, however am still at a loss as to why this happened in the first place. hmmm.
