I have been having a problem with random freeze ups and restarts. When I say random I mean from the initial screen to idleing on the desktop. I have tried a number of things from rebooting to dusting. I did find a connector from motherboard to face that is possibly bad, my next step was to replace this connector. Next I was going to replace the power switch. The funny thing, yesterday we lost power to the house, the computer was off at the time. When power was restored the computer came up without being turned on. I haven't had the aforemetioned problem since (about 12 hours operating time now). I fear that the problem will recur so I am persueing the solution while I can.
