So, I'm a little confused

i didn't know where to post this exactly, so I'm guessing it's here

Back to my problem.
So, I just installed a 9600GT into one of my house computers today, and right after installation, on bootup, it gets past the windows logo sign and loading and then a blue screen and it just restarts. I guessed this was a memory error, so i switched the two sticks of memory for my brand new computer's memory(which works perfectly), but alas, no success. I read online maybe it might be a corrupt file, so i tried reformatting, at 99%, i got the same blue screen. So I switched back in my old 7600GT, same problems. I'm uterly lost and confused, I don't know what the problem could be here... The computer build has been running for a good 6 months now with absolutely no problems

does anyone have any suggestions?
