Ever wanted to find out the name of a cool looking font used in a magazine advertisement you came across? Do you have a scanner? Well, it's as simple as going to WhatTheFont?! and uploading a scanned image of the ad. Then, just search the Net for the (hopefully free) font and download it to your computer.

Of course, it need not be a scanned image. You could also upload a screenshot of a webpage or pretty much any image that contains text.

I've tried it out a couple times and it works amazingly well.
