Re: Trouble with new gfx card So, it does that all through the startup and beyond? Are you even able to get into Windows while plugged into that card? It could be that your monitor doesn't support the higher resolution the graphics card is putting out. The higher resolution would be "out of range" if the graphics card is putting out 1200 * 800, and the monitor only handles 800 * 600 (I know, its a bit of a weird example). But one last question, when does the out of range start? After the splash screen and POST, or right when Windows goes to boot? |
