hi guys
im in the process of building a new PC
these r the specs

gigabyte GA N680sli-DQ6 mother board
Intel Q6600 core 2 Quad CPU
1000w power supply
NX8800gt graphix card
western digital 500g HDD
2 X 2gig (4gig total) DDR2 ram

im just unsure which OS to use...
i have heard from alot of people to steer clear of Vista....constant problems...get XP etc.....but on the other hand the computer shop tells me to get vista...it is better than XP etc.

which would you guys reccomend i get...
i am running XP on my current computer and have had no issues at all with it...runs well...
at the moment i am leaning more towards XP

any help would be appreciated
