to put it simply, that guy was a jerk, i've loaded XP onto my computer since the age of 9. Now it depends on HOW you want to install it, if you want a clean install, simply put the cd in, reboot from cd, wait for everything to load up, follow the on screen instructions It will then install, continue to follow the on screen instructions until finished.
