Hi people.

Needing some help for a friend who cant install his gfx card. He has some integrated thing which is crap so he got hold of a geforce 7600gs (bit old i know) but is having problems getting it working.


When i upgraded my own computer i just -

1. disabled integrated thing
2. turned offf comp, stuck in card and plugged monitor into it
3. started the comp, installed the drivers and hey presto a restart and all was good.


Now the problem my friend is having is at step 3 when he plugs the monitor into the new card he gets a message saying "out of range"

The card seems to install the drivers ok (shows up in device manager) but the monitor just doesnt give a picture when its plugged into the back of the new card

Any suggestions?
