I can vouch for the reliability of the HP Deskjet 840C. It's one of the printers attached to my PC. The other is a Brother HL-4040CN color laser that, because of its speed, is useful for printing large runs. There's also the added benefit of water not ruining the prints. The only drawbacks are that it's really heavy (almost 70 lbs!) and it takes a while for the first page to print.
