Hey there, this works for me when I had a similar problem. Unplug the mouse fromt the usb port. Restart the computer and plug the mouse into a different usb port and hopefully this should work and install the drivers. Failing this try going into device manager and looking for the device in there and try unistalling it from there. Failing this then I would imagine that its a faulty device. Oh what OS are you usign by the way? If its vista you shouldnt need the drivers and it should have installed automatically. If you need any more help or if this doesnt work then let me know.
