Really did it this time OK--so i decided to add a external hard drive and move things over to it from my C: drive.
Well, I think i moved too much(probably all my drivers) and couldnt connect to my boadband router. So I pulled out a USB cable and connected to router and loaded drivers from disk.
Now my computer doent show that it has a Ethernet card at all, and I cant use my wireless router.
I know I need to load the netXtreme gigabit drivers from the internet, but in the device manager I do not even show that I have a network card attached.
How can i get it to show up so I can select it and update drivers??
Do I have to open the box, yank it out and plug it back in so the PC will recognize it??
HP Compaq d530SFF
Windows XP loaded (was XP pro but I didnt notice that until it was too late)
****Is this a problem that I went from XP Pro---> XP? |
