Thanks for the input. As per an idea from a computer guy I know, I re-installed Vista completely, and so far I'm noticing incredible gains in performance, and have experienced the clock interrupt problem only when I have tried to overclock my cpu...so far anyway. That error code was different, which leads me to believe, hopefully, that I'm on the right track.

I'll let everybody know what I find out as I continue working on this issue!
